The normal conversation when I pick the kids up from school goes like this:
"Hey guys, how was school?"
"Good, Mommy, we painted and went on the slide and Bobby sat in the corner," Brooke will say. Once she finishes I will try to include Lexi who is just sitting there eating something or staring around.
Yesterday as we are getting in to the car and I asked Lexi first, "Lexi how was your day?"
"Good," she said and started smiling ear to ear. No kidding.
Brooke & I burst out laughing and cheering. It was so cute and she was so proud of herself she smiled all the way home.
These are the moments!
