September and October

So I haven't blogged in awhile with pictures so this is going to be loaded with pics and not many words!

Here we have Brooke's first day of Kindergarten (she was getting off the bus).

Her friend Victoria takes the bus as well, but isn't in the same class.

On the days I work at home Lexi has taken up Java coding and going some basic QA stuff for me. It's great but she's already looking for a raise.

My mother-in-law, Anne, (who may kill me for posting this picture) comes and plays with Brooke on Thursday afternoons. They have a routine where they make tea (real!) and have snacks. On this particular day they did make-up and hair!

All was going well. Brooke was off to her first kindergarten birthday party. I decided to take the girls to the park ahead of time to blow off some steam. Let's just say monkey bars. It's a fracture (buckle fracture) and not a "break" but still required the rest of the day (Sat.) at the dr. office and hospital.
So there we have it for now but it's only mid-October. It's been absolutely beautiful in New England lately. I hope to post more pics this weekend of our trip last weekend to World's End.

Now I'm in trouble

Google has discovered my blog. So anyone that Google's me (not that I Googled myself or anything) is going to find this blog. Yikes, better watch what I write a little more closely. Nah.
Anyway, cute Brooke story coming.

In the car on the way home from picking them up at daycare, "Mom, you know that girl that doesn't like us (her and Victoria) on the bus? Well, I sat with her friend today so she didn't have a seat. She had to sit at the back of the bus. And when she sat down the boys back there were making fun of her, so I turned around and said, 'Stop it." Then they told ME to stop it so I said, 'Puhleease just stop picking on my friend'. And they kept doing it. Then I accidentally poked one of them in the eye."

I thought I was going to have to pull over I laughed so hard. There are a lot of people I wish I could "accidentally" poke in the eye.
