Go Diego Go!

We went to Go Diego Go at the Boston Opera House yesterday. My mother picked the kids up at school, brought them to lunch and then came in to my work. They got to meet some of my co-workers and see my cubicle which they thought was pretty cool.

The Opera House is right across the street. The show was perfect for kids. Silly and simple just like the tv show but the set design was impressive. The souvenirs were ridiculously expensive but Yia Yia treated so the kids got a couple of spinning flashlights that they love.

State Farm Ins. had a booth to get a free picture so I got one with each of the kids. I would have done them together but took Brooke for a walk first, discovered it and there wasn't a line so I jumped in with her. They came out pretty cute. It was a very fun trip!!

Happy Birthday Lexi Lou!

Lexi's b'day party was a couple of weeks ago but I'm just getting a chance to post some pics now. Big fun was had by all and the cake was a huge hit!

Wedding!

I was recently invited to be the maid of honor in my friend Kate's wedding. I am thrilled for many reasons. One is that Kate is a wonderful person and deserves to be happy. Two is that Barb, her partner, is also a wonderful person and makes Kate happy. And three, well I am still me, I get to wear fancy clothes and stay in a hotel, whoo hooo!!

Kate was a bridesmaid in our wedding (I found this photo. She's the blonde on the right end).

She pretty much orchestrated my bridal shower (see next picture where I show up in jeans and a fleece pull over). That's her in the front of the pic.

She asked me over lunch and was all nervous about it, as if I'd ever say "no". Too funny; but that's Kate for you. She reiterated that she doesn't "need" a shower and all the pomp and circumstance. Again, too funny, "Hello, Kate, I'm Lisa, apparently we've never met. Oh, and my middle name is Pomp, didn't know that either huh?"

I'm can be creative and this is going to be fun! Thanks again for the honor Kate & Barb - let the good times roll!
